How long does it take to make a book?
Most digital books are ready in about 3-5 minutes after you upload photos and pick a style. You can read it immediately online or download as a PDF.
Can I give this as a gift without signing up?NEW
Yes. Our gift flow lets you create a personalized storybook without an account. Upload a photo, choose a style, and check out. You can send the gift as a digital link by email, and optionally add a printed book shipped to the address you enter at checkout.
Can I include multiple characters?
Yes. You can save up to 15 characters, including kids, parents, grandparents, friends, and even pets. A single story can feature up to 10 of them on the Free Preview, or up to 15 on the Family Plan. Each person is designed to look consistent throughout the story in your chosen art style.
Can I order a printed copy?
Yes. Once your book is ready, you can order professional printed copies in softcover or hardcover. Books typically ship within 5-7 business days.
What print sizes are available?
We offer square (8.5" x 8.5") and portrait (8.5" x 11") sizes in both softcover and hardcover options. All prints are 300 DPI professional quality.
Is my photo safe?
Yes. Your photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are sent to our AI service providers only to make your book, and they are never shown publicly, sold, or used to train AI models. You control who can see your books, and you can delete your photos at any time.
What does print quality look like?NEW
Books are printed in full color at 300 DPI on premium paper with fade-resistant inks, in softcover or hardcover.
How does the educator plan work?NEW

Can I make different books with different people?
Yes. Mix and match any of your characters. Make one starring just your kid, another with the whole family, and one for a friend's birthday. Each story uses page credits: the Free Preview includes 8 pages, enough for one short story, and the Family Plan includes 42 pages a month. You can buy one-time page packs if you need more.
